Infrared drying systems
From 1967 Eltosch engineers and process technicians have already been developing and manufacturing infrared lamp segments. In general, our lamps are coated with a golden reflector in order to achieve the highest possible reflection degree for infrared radiation of all kind. The segment housings are equipped with a second reflector layer in order to reflect again the infrared radiation returned by the substrate (thermal radiation). This layer increases the efficiency by up to 30%.
Our highly flexible infrared product range offers you tailor-made solutions thanks to the possibility to use different lamp characteristics (infrared short wave (IRK), infrared medium wave (IRM), infrared medium wave carbon (IRMC) or near-infrared (NIR)).
Depending on the application and the lamp power, the segment/lamp cooling can be carried out as a pure air cooling, a water cooling and even as a combined air/water cooling. A blowing air cooling has also the effect to support the cleaning by blowing floating particles (powder, paper dust, etc.) away from the lamp with a targeted air flow.
A variable power control and radiation widths depending on the format allow an optimum adaptation to the production process.
